The quatrefoil tray raised on four high, curved supports decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with details of kirigane, hirame and togidashi with a large peony reserved on a dense nashiji ground, continued on the base and legs, signed in gold lacquer on the surface with the name of the painter of the original design, Gyokusho, and signed in gold lacquer on the base Morisada ko--11 7/8in. (30.2cm.) long, 3 1/8in. (7.9cm.) high
