Each representing one of the Eighteen Luohan and shown seated atop a bluish-black outcropping of rock with his sandals on a ledge below, one holding prayer beads, the other gesturing with his right hand, wearing priest's robes, one in purple and shades of gray, the other in purple and lime green, with aprochryphal Qianlong molded seal marks in gold on an iron-red plaque applied to the back of the rockwork seat
