Tau-shaped, the shaped carved hardstone handle with two rose-diamond suspended chased and engraved laurel swags, the mount with domed panels of red guilloché enamel with rose-diamond stripes at intervals between leaf-mounted ribbed borders, numbered inside mount, in original velvet and silk-lined wooden case, the cover stamped in Russian 'Fabergé St Petersburg Moscow' with Imperial warrant
