In the neo-classical style, each vase form, on circular pedestal base, one side with oval cartouche engraved with crossed trees in landscape, the other monogrammed, each within tied paterae and husk hung drapery swags, mask below, flanked by underlying tied husk swags, with tied reeded borders, with two high arched, partly reeded loop handles, the conformingly engraved inverted trumpet form cover topped by palmette clad ovoid finial, base underside with script presentation inscription --15½in. (39.3cm.) high, 86.5oz. (2)
