The oval box inlaid in various soft-metals in an oval reserve of hydrangeas in a vase, a ewer and a miniature rock garden on the cover, and on the sides of the cover and lower sides with birds on cherry branches, on one side, and with three silver cranes and snow-capped Mount Fuji, also silver, on the other, some patination rubbed away --4 5/8 x 3½ x 1 7/8in. (11.7 x 8.9 x 4.7cm.)
