Of hexagonal section mounted on raised bracket feet, the six walls of the body curved and the upright, hexagonal neck supporting an extended, flat mouth, also hexagonal, inlaid in silver wire on the sides with auspicious plant and animal medallions within keyfret and diaperwork borders, on the legs with flower scroll, key frets and lappets, on the neck with lappets and on the flat lip with large florets enclosed in oblong panels of diaperwork within another key fret band, the body of the censer secured to the bracket support-plinth by an iron bolt--6 3/8in. (16.3cm.) high
