etching and drypoint, 1648, on fine laid paper, watermark Foolscap, second (final) state, a fine impression, with touches of burr, the printing very slightly slipped lower left as is often the case with this subject, with thread margins on three sides, trimmed on the platemark at the left, two thin patches at the top sheet edge showing only on the reverse, overall pale discoloration, lesser defects
