A GEORGE III SILVER TEA URN, by Paul Storr, London, 1808, of hemispherical form, with molded girdle, reeded handles and spout terminating in lion's heads, ovolo borders, the square pedestal base with gadrooned domed centre, raised on four paw feet headed by stylized foliage and scrolls, the domed cover lobed and centred by a bud finial above a pierced stem, engraved with armorials and a crest, the detachable heading rod holder restored and adapted by I. Freeman, New York, Height 15in. (38cm.), 86.15oz. The Arms are those of the Bishoprie of Chester impaling Majendie of Castle Hedingham, for Henry William Majendie Bishop of Chester and Bangor. He died in 1839.
