A ZITAN AND HARDWOOD MINIATURE DISPLAY CABINET
18TH CENTURY

Formed as two tiers resting on shallow bracket feet, composed of a
series of openwork shelves and pairs of drawers and doors, some inset
with grayish-white jade panels, the divisions defined by molded edges
and pierced and carved brackets, together with two jade and ivory-
inset blackwood and bamboo double boxes, one formed as a pyramid of
three scrolls, the other as two books stacked one on top of the
other, with gilt-metal mounts and pulls, some damage and repair--
8 7/8 in. (22.6 cm.) high
