The baluster body chased with a band of flutes, on spreading foot, with reeded and leaf-clad scroll handle and gadrooned rim with acanthus at intervals, applied under the spout with acanthus above an engraved crest and motto, with unusual double-hinged cover with bud-form finial, fully marked -- 8¼ in.
