Comprising a coffeepot, cream-jug, and open sugar bowl; each cylindrical, the copper body applied with silver dragonflies and inlaid with silver and gold marbling, the silver rim and foot inlaid with copper geometric ornament, the coffeepot with flat cover similarly-decorated and applied with a dragonfly finial, the silver handles inlaid with copper and gold marbling, marked--coffeepot 8¾in. high (3)

The identical coffeepot in the collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts is illustrated in William Hosley, The Japan Idea, Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, 1990, fig. 109, p. 129.

Tiffany's records describe this short tapering spout as a "gutter spout."
