Lot Essay

Tiffany's records describe the form of this salver simply as 'Round waiter.' The drawing for the decoration of the salver is in the Tiffany & Co. Archives, and lists the materials for inlay as follows: 'Green Gold, Yellow Metal & Fine Gold, Jap. Gold, Copper & Red Metal, Platinum.'
