A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT, London, 1773, maker's mark of John Carter II, cylindrical, the lower part of the body chased with acanthus and smaller leaves at intervals, chased above with paterae hung drapery swags, with straight spout and wood scroll handle, the flat hinged circular cover topped by wood baluster finial--4¾in. (12cm.) high, gross weight 14oz.
