The rectangular form writing box decorated in gold hiramaki-e and sparse nashiji on a roiro-nuri ground with flowering camelia, the interior similarly decorated with butterflies on a nashiji ground, and with waterplants, slight chips and old wear - 9 x 6 3/4 x 1 1/2ins. (23 x 17.2 x 4cms.)
