Decorated on the exterior with chrysanthemums blooming by bamboo fences in gold takamaki-e and togidashi with nashiji highlights on a kinji ground, the hinged door decorated on the interior with gold takamakie maples above a meandering stream rendered in togidashi and sprinkled overall with nashiji, the three interior drawers matching, their interiors and undersides nashiji, the underside of the kodansu also nashiji, silver mounts- 10 1/4 x 6 5/8 x 8 7/16 in.
