Within a domed case with leaf capped carrying handle and urn finials, gilt leafy scroll mounts to the top and the door, the sides with pierced scroll, frets incorporating lenticle, the signed square dial with silvered chapter ring enclosing ringed winding holes, date and pendulum apertures in the matted center enhanced with scrolls and central rosette, winged cherub spandrels, Suona/Non Suona lever at XII o'clock, the twin fusee movement with barrel click mounted on the backplate profusely engraved with leafy scrolls and signature, verge escapement, rack striking the hour and pull quarter repeat on five bells by means of separately pivoted hammers, c. 1700-- high
