PARIS, 1776, MAKER'S MARK OF ANTOINE BOULLIER, THE SPOONS VARIOUS DATES AND MAKERS
Comprising a pair of double oval salt cellars with central handles, six oval salt cellars and a pair of circular mustard pots, each raised on four paw feet headed by acanthus, the sides pierced and chased with scrolling foliage, acanthus and festoons of grapes and engraved with a coat-of-arms and coronet, with blue glass liners, together with a pair of mustard spoons and eight salt shovels, all with fiddle and thread stems, engraved with the same coat-of-arms and coronet, fully marked except for one mustard pot and cover; struck with the charge and discharge of Jean-Baptiste Fouache and Dominique Compant--length of double salt cellars 5½in. (14cm.), height of mustard pots 4¼in. (10.8cm.), in later fitted wood case
