In the Renaissance style, the shell form dish on a shaped tri-form base rising to a baluster stem with applied foliate scroll panels surrounded by three classical masks headed by bird heads, above inlaid enamel zig-zag decoration and supported by three winged horses, the dish chased with elaborate foliate scrolls and rocaille, the rim with applied openwork foliate scrolls, surmounted by a the cast figure of Neptune, marked on base with pseudo-hallmarks--12¾in. (32.4cm.) high
