A GRAYISH-GREEN ARCHAISTIC JADE POURING VESSEL AND COVER, GUANG, modelled after an archaic bronze animal-form container supported on an oval spreading foot, carved in low relief throughout with taotie masks and scrolled spiral, divided by vertical flanges on the sides and a loop handle at the back, the cover carved with eyes, horn and stylized tail, the semi-translucent stone of even tone with some whitish striations - 6 in.
