Centering a stylized flower with alternating yellow dappled petals, elongated blue petals with red termini, and green leaves, on a stylized yellow stem issuing green buds and yellow, red and black strawberries, on a brown triangular base, bounded vertically on each side by a red and blue striped border

Lot Essay

This presentation drawing is included in the Bucks County Fraktur Survey. It is attributed to Dieterly on the basis of the distinctive red "heart shaped" motifs used in the petals and strawberries, and also seen on a signed birth and baptismal by her in the collection of the Free Library of Philadelphia.
