The moulded ebonized base raised on toupie feet, with applied gryphons and scrolls flanking the oval monogram, the circular white enamel dial within beaded bezel supported by four eagle legs, flanked by urns and surmounted by floral swag, arabic chapters enclosing date ring, pierced gilt hands, blued steel calendar hand, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement rack striking and repeating the hours and quarters on two bells, thread suspended apollo mask pendulum, Vienna c. 1810 -- 19' (49cm.) high
