Of baluster form on lobed and domed circular foot elaborately chased with panels of foliate scrolls on a matted ground, two enclosing chased helms and crests, the body chased with a continuous scene of hounds in full cry on one side and a kill on the other in an extensive landscape enclosed by foliage and scrolls, all under an everted foliate scroll and rocaille rim applied at intervals with fox masks, with two foliate scroll handles with applied fox masks below, the domed cover chased with a band of oak leaves on a matted ground and surmounted by the mounted figure of a huntsman, (one handle detached),marked on body, cover and finial--16in. (41 cm.) high
