Of circular form, the spreading base cast and chased with a border of anthemion and ropetwist, the straight sides chased with bands of Vitruvian scrolls on a matted ground with anthemion above, the domed cover flat-chased with a geometric band and surmounted by a tied bud finial, with frosted glass liner, marked on body and cover--7in. (18 cm.) diam.
