Comprising coffee pot, stand and lamp, teapot on stand, cream jug, sugar bowl and sugar nippers, the fluted baluster bodies on shaped spreading bases, chased with matted panels of alternating flowers and rocaille within strapwork borders, with reeded and foliate scroll borders and spouts applied with rocaille, the teapot and coffee pot with ivory scroll handles and flower form finials, the coffee pot stand on three elaborate foliate scroll supports with pierced aprons between and removable lamp, the teapot stand with wooden base, the sugar nippers of scissor form, elaborately cast and chased with foliage and rocaille, engraved with a crest and coronet, fully marked except for lamp cover--height of coffee pot on stand 11in. (28cm.); the shaped oval tray with elaborately pierced, cast and chased border of overlapping foliage, rocaille and strapwork, the scroll handles headed by stylized lion masks, the field engraved with a broad band of foliage, scrolls and strapwork enclosing a Count's armorials, marked on reverse and stamped R&S GARRARD, PANTON STREET LONDON--length over handles 30 1/2in.
