(15 5/8 x 12 1/16 x 2 7/8[vol.2: 2 5/16]in.), A COSWAY STYLE BINDING, navy blue crushed levant morocco, covers with double gilt fillet border around an inner border of ruled gilt dots, enclosing a repeated gilt inner border around a single gilt fillet panel incorporating red onlaid morocco gilt Tudor rose and gilt leaf spray corner ornaments, UPPER COVERS EACH SET WITH AN OVAL PORTRAIT MINIATURE BY ALYN WILLIAMS (Queen Alexandra, 75 x 62mm., 2 15/16 x 2 7/16in. and Mrs. Alyn Williams (?) dated 1897, 64 x 52mm., 2 1/2 x 2in., both signed), in metal frames within a couronne of red onlaid morocco gilt Tudor rose and gilt leaf spray; spines in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt lettered in two compartments, a decorated rule panel in the rest; board edges with single gilt fillet, turn-ins gilt ruled, blue-gray paper linings, t.e.g., others uncut, stamp-signed on upper turn-ins: "Bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe London".
