Each of cylindrical form raised on a short, slightly inset foot enclosing a recessed base, also modelled with a short ridge around the middle perimeter which separated the top half almost imperceptively from the bottom half of the vessel, each designed on one side on the lower half with faint vertical lines of iron-brown and on the upper half with faint linked 'x's' of iron-brown, covered overall by thick white slip ending above the foot, patches of umber scorching from the firing overall; in wood tomobako inscribed Shino do himaoka tsutsumuko gonin (five Shino raised-line cylindrical mukozuke) and signed with the katakana syllable Ro
