A THREE PIECE SILVER PART TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH MATCHING SUGAR BOWL, the service maker's mark of Ball, Black & Co., New York, 1851-1875, also struck W F pellet between and pseudo hallmarks, the sugar bowl maker's mark of Peter Krider, Philadelphia, c. 1870-1903, comprising teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and two handled covered sugar bowl, each with inverted ovoid body on raised circular base with applied grapevine rim, with slightly waisted neck, with rusticated grapevine handle, each component chased and engraved with undulating grapevine, the body centering two sides vacant shaped oval cartouche, the pots with rusticated grapevine scroll spout, the hinged partly domed decorated cover topped by cast grapevine finial--the coffee pot 14in.
