A GILT-DECORATED PAINTED ENAMEL INCENSE BURNER

The deep-walled vessel raised on a flared foot and painted in large splotches of blue, green, olive green and deep red in imitation of an ancient bronze gui with vari-colored encrustation and patina, the archaistic decoration finely executed in gilding, with a pair of ring handles suspending loose rings, the interior turquoise; together with an unusual gilt-decorated blue-ground dish, Qianlong four-character seal mark in blue enamel and of the period, the interior painted in gilding with a central stylized flowerhead surrounded by lotus sprays, with further lotus sprigs on the reverse, all reserved on a rich blue ground, some restoration and cracks
