A LARGE NEPALESE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF YI-DAM HEVAJRA
The divinity with eight heads shown stepping in alidhasana upon two of the four human figures lying atop the oval base cast with two rows of lotus petals, his primary arms embracing his consort in yab-yum, his remaining fourteen arms radiating around him, the hands holding kapalas containing animals on the left and deities on the right, as do the pair of primary hands, with small heads pendent from a beaded chain worn around his shoulders and also pendent from a skull-decorated series of chains draped between his legs
