Of circular form, on spreading circular foot chased with palmette and stylized foliate decoration, the body with similar rim, with elaborate horse-head bifurcated side handles headed by wings, the domed cover surmounted by a double scroll handle issuing from animal heads above a palmette calyx, with fitted silver liner, marked on base, body, liner, cover and handle--length over handles16 1/8in.
