The interior carved with an allover pattern of leafy, budding stems of various types of chrysanthemum, the center of each carved with a different diaper pattern, repeated as a frieze of flowerheads on leafy scrolling stems on the exterior, the base covered with reddish-toned black lacquer, restored--5 3/4 in. (14.5cm.) diam.
