Standing on an amber-glazed water-buffalo recumbent on a naturalistic pierced rockwork base, his right hand on his hip in an assertive attitude, the left arm slightly raised with clenched fist, dressed in an armored breastplate tied by a knotted cord over a waisted tunic with shoulder pieces in the form of ferocious animal masks, and his legs in leggings, covered in rich shades of amber, green and cream glaze attractively applied, the hands and head left unglazed and showing traces of orange and black pigment, his face vigorously modeled with furrowed brow, protuberent eyes and flaring nostrils framed by the upturned brim of the helmet, some restoration--29 1/2 in. (75cm.) high
