The rounded rectangular box fitted with interior tray decorated in takamaki-e with various details in cut gold and nashiji with a villa, palanquin, brush fence and flowering plum trees in bright gold with silver accents, the twisted plums and pines, a stream and hillocks continued on the sides of the box, the tray matching, with a design of plums, pine and brush fence, the interiors and underside nashiji, silver mounts- 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 x 3 cm. (13.5 x 10.4 x 7.8 cm.), in lacquer fitted box
