A SILVER CREAM JUG AND COVERED SUGAR BOWL
MAKER'S MARK OF JOHN W. FORBES, NEW YORK, CIRCA 1815

Each oval, with a lobed band of foliate scrolls on a reeded ground, enclosed by engraved wrigglework and stylized foliate bands, engraved on each side with an oval wrigglework and foliage cartouche and enclosing on one side the initials JRL, the sugar box with ring handles and domed cover with oval urn finial, each marked--height of sugar bowl 7in.
