The sides carved in high relief with scenes of scholars and attendants in a mountainous river retreat, one scholar painting inside a pavilion, two conversing beneath bamboo and with one figure from each of the two groups of attendants floating candles in the swirling river, with a brief inscription and seal carved on one rock face, all interspersed with trees, including a large gnarled tree trunk forming the handle at one end, with a dragon and chilong carved on the interior, of rich reddish-brown color, losses--8 in.
