The first a large rectangular panel painted and woven in muted shades of blue, green, brown and ochre with the Eight Immortals in a celestial setting, the details picked out in black, some wear and repairs, 19th century--56 x 30 1/2 in. (142.2 x 77.5cm.), framed and glazed; the second a smaller panel, woven with a pair of pheasants on rockwork amidst tree peony and chrysanthemum, some wear, 17th/18th century--14 1/2 x 15 1/4 in.
