Each woven with a pair of pheasants perched on rockwork beside blossoming peony and divided by shou characters superimposed on double peaches enveloped by clouds, and a foliate panel surrounded by four Buddhist emblems, all above a writhing dragon encircling jagged rocks rising from foamy waves, picked out in shades of brown, green, cream, salmon and red, the details in black, reserved against a well-preserved gold ground--71 x 20 in.
