A CELADON CUP STAND
KORYO DYNASTY (13TH CENTURY)
Modelled with six gently curving and overlapping lotus petals, each incised to mark the outlines of the petal on the top and underside, the petals encircling the wide, deep cup-well in the center and the whole resting on a thick ring foot, glazed completely, including the ring foot and recessed base, with a slightly greyish green celadon glaze pooling to a more emerald green in the interstices- 5 3/4 in. (14.7 cm.) diameter; 2 1/8 in. (5.3 cm.) high
