The thick iron plate carved as a section of worn wood, with gold-banded cut ends top and bottom, the inner sides of the hitsu-ana areas lined with shakudo--6.7 cm. high, 6.4 cm. wide, 6.5 cm. thick, some rust and pitting to surface
