Of rectangular shape with inward sloping top in the form of a pillow pierced at the top and front side and fitted with a removable drawer, decorated in gold and silver takamaki-e and foil with the 'Three friends', pine, plum and bamboo and with mon on a ground of dense nashiji, continued on the interior- 8 3/4 x 4 1/8 x 4 3/8 in. (22.3 x 10.3 x 10.7 cm.), corner and edge chips, some wear
