EDO PERIOD (19TH CENTURY), SIGNED KOMA KYUHAKU SAKU
The narrow square inro decorated with a red lacquer ground embellished with large, gold hirame flakes and in gold, brown and silver takamaki-e with a folded fan overlaid with grape vines partially continued on the back, the interior cases fundame, fitted with a silver bead ojime and ivory manju netsuke carved with the figure of Jurojin, signed Hojitsu- 2 7/8 in. (7.5 cm.) high, losses to hirame, some wear at edges
