The tall, standing figure of Kannon draped in loose, long robes patterned on the back with large gilt and red phoenixes reserved on a ground of light blue enamel paulownia blossoms with navy blue vines, the inner robe decorated in light green and gilt with stylized phoenix medallions, the flowers adorning the inner robe above the feet painted in thick enamels of blue, red and gilt, all on a cream crackle ground, facial details black or red- 18 1/4 in. (46.3 cm.) high
