The vase of campana form with gadrooned lower body, trumpet foot and scroll handles, glazed in brown, blue and green enriched with gilt on a cream ground, the pedestal similarly glazed, modelled in the Renaissance style with a circular Corinthian capital on laurel-vine entwined shaft rising from a waisted socle with corner scrolls formed as hooves, the whole supported on the backs of four turtles resting on a further square base--17 1/8in.
