The circular box decorated in inlaid black and white slip with a band of fruit motifs around the base below fret and dot patterns around the rim, beneath a translucent, crackled and bubble-suffused celadon glaze; the flattened dome lid decorated en suite with a central medallion of flowerheads surrounded by a broad band of cranes flying in clouds, a narrower band of flowerheads and a stylized pattern around the rim matching the base, beneath a translucent crackled celadon glaze--1 5/8 x 3 3/4in.
