Of chrysanthemum blossom shape raised on five ruyi supports, the deep sides molded with narrow lobes, decorated on the exterior with pairs of pale blue dragons confronted on a lotus blossom, all entwined and surrounded by ruyi heads, lingzhi sprigs and foliate scroll, the everted, scalloped rim decorated with flower sprays, all in delicate famille rose enamels reserved on a gold ground, with a band of blue dots reserved on white on the outside of the rim, the interior of pale turquoise color, with a central drainage hole, cracks--9in. (22.8cm.) diam.
