The central printed American eagle with starred and striped chevron breastplate clutching arrows and a laurel branch flanked by blue and red watercolored serpentine forms and red, green and yellow abstracted flowers above a central printed verse in rectangular printed surround flanked by stylized red and yellow tulips on a horizontal register of blue, yellow and green abstracted foliate forms over the printed and hand written birth and baptismal record of Esther Rieth, born to Thomas and Elizabeth Rieth of Manheim Township in Schuykill County on 14 January 1815 enclosed by printed rectangular three-sided surround, the artist's signature along the side--13¼ x 8½in.
