Comprising a central casket and two four-light candelabra; the shaped rectangular casket on a stepped base with open-lobed pedestal, the fluted corners continuing on the openwork scalloped cover with large artichoke finial, the candelabra on shaped rectangular domed base with lobed openwork decoration, the eight branches of curved conical form with facetted nozzles, centering an open artichoke, each marked under bases--casket 14in. Also included is a costing slip indicating a factory price of $7,800, presumably also in 1949. Recorded on this document are the costs of material and labor, including 700 hours of work by a silversmith named Danielson.
