Mario Botta (b. 1943) studied at the Instituto Universitario di Architettura in Venice from 1964 to 1969, and worked in the offices of LeCorbusier in 1965 and Louis Kahn in 1969. He is currently professor of architecture at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale in Lausanne, Switzerland. For further biography, see J. Capella and Q.
