The lobed body raised on four shallow ruyi supports, carved in shallow relief with the wufu, two bats with outspread wings projecting from the rim atop each of the lingzhi fungus handles, another pair of bats shown in flight as they flank the ribbon-tied shou character which spans the top of the vessel, the fifth bat carved on the side below a chime and the slightly projecting spout, the well-polished stone with some opaque white mottling and added russet coloring--9¼in. (23.5cm.) across handles
