Sugata: with shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune with several uchi kizu (sword cuts) and chu-kissaki; nagasa: 2 shaku, 1 sun, 7 bu (65.8 cm.); sori: 0.9 cm.. Jihada: itame masame. Hamon: an Ichimonji style patterning in the lower half, comprising in nioi and nie a mixture of choji, hako-choji, kobushigata-choji, juka-choji, komidare, sunagashi and some scattered kinsuji; the upper half of the hamon quieting into a subdued suguba komidare with the exception of the lower half of the ura monouchi where ghostly patterns resembling utsuri take the form of reverse ashi, reaching from the hamon almost to the shinogi-ji. Boshi: scratched. Nakago keitai: suriage and with a soft, brown patina; yasurime: katte-sagari; nakagojiri: kuri-jiri; mekugi-ana: three; mei, mumei. Gunto saya
